Guangzhou (JLC), August 13, 2025--Wanhua Chemical Group's net profit attributable to its shareholders slumped by 25.1% year on year in the first half (H1) of 2025, according to the company's semi-annual report released on August 12.

Wanhua Chemical's net profit came in at CNY6.12 billion in H1, down from CNY8.17 billion in the same period of time last year.

Specifically, sales revenue from polyurethane products reached CNY36.89 billion in the period, that from petrochemical products amounted to CNY34.93 billion, and that from fine chemicals and new materials products totaled CNY15.63 billion.

In the first six months, the company produced and sold 2.98 million mt and 3.03 million mt of polyurethane products. As for fine chemicals and new materials products, the output and sales stood at 1.24 million mt and 1.19 million mt, respectively.
